On Arrival

Car parking is located right outside the Welcome Room. There are three steps up to the Welcome Room door, however we are happy to meet and welcome you at the car if this is easier for you.

Road and Path Surface

The road way and paths throughout the site are made of tarmac and pea shingle this is perfect for pushing a pushchair or a wheelchair.

Snug Huts

There are three or four steps to access each Snug Hut and three steps to access the toilet and shower block. The top bunk bed is accessed using a step ladder.

Lodges

It is possible to park outside all the lodges. Each lodge has a path leading to it which is between 10-20 metres long. Lily Dale has the advantage of parking directly outside the lodge. 

Rabbit Dale Lodge has a tarmac and pea shingle sloping path to the door, there is only one small step over the door frame. This is the most easily accessed lodge.

Honey Dale, Lily Dale, Deep Dale and Fairy Dale have two steps to reach the front door.

Inside the lodges

Rabbit Dale, Fairy Dale and Deep Dale Lodge

The lodges are all on one level and the lounge/dining/kitchen areas are open plan.

They have an en-suite bathroom to each bedroom with a shower over the bath. We will provide attachable bath handles on request. These offer more support for entering and leaving the bath and can be positioned in the correct place for individual needs.

Honey Dale and Lily Dale lodge are open plan with the exception of the toilet and has the benefit of a large walk-in shower.

Each Lodge has access onto the decking area from each bedroom and the lounge, there is a small step from the floor inside over the door frame to the decking outside.
