Parking and Path Surface

The road way and paths throughout the main site are made of tarmac and pea shingle, which are perfect for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The road way and paths on the Mill Pond and Kingfisher part of the site are stone.

Parking is provided close to each lodge. Honeydale, Deepdale and Fairydale lodges have a path leading to the door which is between 10-20 metres long.

Lilydale, Kingfisher, Millpond, Rabbitdale and the Treehouse have the advantage of parking directly outside the lodges.

Inside the lodges

All lodges have a television with the option for subtitles and we provide magnifying glasses to help with reading.

We can also provide bath handles and a bath chair on request. These offer more support for entering and leaving the bath and can be positioned in the correct place for individual needs.

Rabbitdale, Deepdale and Fairydale have baths with showers over.

Honeydale, Lilydale have separate baths and walk-in showers.

Millpond and Kingfisher each have one bath with shower over and one separate walk-in shower.

Cowdale, Springdale and The Treehouse have walk-in showers.

In all of our lodges, access onto the decking area from the bedroom and/or lounge, has a small step from the floor inside over the door frame to the decking outside.
